Elmo Insurance Limited is a leading provider of general insurance services offering a wide portfolio of commercial and personal products, with roots dating back almost 70 years. The company is rapidly expanding its operations to meet the demands of its growing product lines and customer base.
We are seeking to recruit a qualified accountant to strengthen our commercially focussed finance team. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the post entails responsibility for the preparation of management accounts for various Group companies, regulatory and other external reporting, and accounting for the Group’s investment portfolio.
This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of ongoing accounting responsibilities, financial analysis and reporting, and is expected to:
• be dynamic, self-motivated and wishes to further his / her career in this sector.
• have a keen interest in systems as well as advanced IT skills.
• possess a positive attitude, an achiever with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• have a minimum 2-3 years experience in an audit or accounting environment, preferably with exposure to the financial services industry.
