We are looking for a motivated and experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead and implement our auditing processes.
The role requires:
- An academic qualification in Accountancy and professional experience in internal or external audit, with exposure to insurance companies
- Excellent communication skills, good report writing skills and a sound knowledge of IT
- The disposition and ability to keeping up to date with technical developments in the accountancy and insurance sectors.
The successful candidate would:
- Set up and develop the Internal Audit Department. Develop a procedures manual
for all the activities of the company. Draw up a risk management profile for all the
company’s activities. Determine scope, draw up audit plans/programs and undertake individual audits
- Provide advice in respect of developing systems, procedures and processes, including IT processes
- Liase with the financial services regulator and the company’s external auditors
- Promote understanding of good governance, risk and control throughout the company.
