JLT Insurance Management Malta Ltd was launched in January 2007 through a joint venture with Elmo Insurance Limited, an established Maltese insurer with an international vision and a culture of underwriting, having represented Royal & Sun Alliance for over 60 years. JLT are the majority shareholder but we are working hand in glove with our new partner in Malta.
Elmo's role in providing local knowledge and infrastructure is central to our vision of delivering the highest quality of insurance management services in Malta. Their experienced staff are all professionally qualified in insurance and accountancy and have a strong presence in the islands business community. Their understanding of the regulatory environment and its requirements will be invaluable in the licensing and operation of new insurers and reinsurers in Malta.
Captive Management Services are provided across the Jardine Lloyd Thompson and JLT Malta networks to cover all elements of captive management, from establishing captives to day-to-day operations.
